Crown & Bridge

Dental crowns are covers or caps placed on a tooth to restore the tooth’s normal function, shape, and size. The main purpose is to create a stronger tooth or improve its appearance. Patients may need a crown if there is a cavity that is too large for a filling, a missing tooth that needs a bridge, has a cracked tooth, or if they had a root canal treatment.

The crowning process could take up to two visits: The first visit will consist of preparing the tooth by shaping it, an impression will be taken, and then a temporary crown will be placed. The second visit consists of replacing the temporary crown with the permanent crown.
