Sealants

 Sealants can be an extremely important component of dental care. Sealants are a decay preventive coating, filling the deep grooves and pits of the chewing surfaces. The sealant process consists of an abrasive cleansing of the tooth’s surface, followed by etching the tooth with an acid, then immediately applying the sealant material.
